Our Brush Fire

Hey everyone. You may have heard and seen on TV a brush fire on our street. No one was injured! No homes were burned. GOD IS GOOD! It was started by two 14 year olds who were supposedly smoking pot. It burned the wash right behind many homes on the west side. A tree caught fire in a backyard of the neighbor right behind us but that was put out quickly. The other side (east side) was a big hill. All of that caught fire as well. Dad and I (Tabitha) were not home yet when it was reported. We were almost not able to get home. Dad had his fire captain ID on him and told the sheriffs that our house was on the street. They were pretty nice and let us through. I have never seen so many animals and people in our house at one time! H O L Y C O W!!!!!! Mom was a good samaritan. She let many dogs, cats, AND EVEN TWO SNAKES in the house. I have never seen Tristini cry so hard! Poor girl! So much panic! I amazingly did not cry! Just trying to keep all the little ones in the house calm! Mom really did good. Anyone who really knows my mom knows how much she despises most animals... let alone pee on the carpet! Dogs peeing and pooping in the house... ON THE CARPET! Mystery, vicious dogs. People just dropping off kids and pets! COMPLETE MAYHEM!!!!!! Mom did really well. Especially when some people got mad at her when she VERY POLITELY asked them to watch their dogs and pick up their dog's poop. Well, about two hours later, the fire was out and people started to calm down. Special thanks to Aunt Debbie and Darrick and the Kaiser Family for being so willing to help out when we weren't home when it started! You guys are the best! Also thank you to all the firefighters who saved our homes! YOU GUYS ROCK! Just to name a few, Randy Zimmerman (Station 73s), 108's, 156's, and everyone else!

Prayers

We are all praying for daddy. He was burned in an explosion while at a structure fire on July 13. He is okay, God had His hand on dad. However, he does have a 3rd degree burn on his right hand and thumb as well as 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his left ear. Thank you everyone who has been praying. Lake Tahoe!!!!

We just got home from Lake Tahoe last night. Literally. Today my dad is at work and we are unpacking. Going to Lake Tahoe is a vacation that the Tomlinson family will NEVER forget. We were able to get jet skiis from The Boling family. Our trip would have never been the same without those jet skiis, because pretty much all we did was ride the jet skiis. Also we went down the Truckee River. It was a BLAST!!!!!!! I, Tristini had sooo much fun playing in the river. The unfortunate part was my dad fell in trying to get an oar that had fallen out, and he ended up falling in on the biggest rapid of the river. He was fine, luckily. Another thing we did was drive around the entire lake, NO LIE!!! A fun thing that Tristini collected was the wristbands from the beaches we went too. Tristini ended up collecting 12 wristbands!!!! That is unbelievable!!! Also we caught crawdads on the last day of being there. That was a fun experience... Now we are home unpacking, and back to our regular lives. Good to be home and sad to be home!!!  

Summer Trip #1

Our 1st family vacation trip was to Oregon. We visited my grandparents, aunt and uncles, my mom's friend, cousins, and friends. We did many things on this trip, such as horseback riding, going to a museum, shopping for my birthday, having picnics... Something we won't forget was the Hellgate trip. you might be thinking that we're saying a bad word, but really we are only saying the jet boat ride that we went on down the river. We definitely cannot wait until Tristini's birthday in THREE days. Yippeeeee Tristini is going to be a 11 year old.  Mommy is having a very hard time believing that Tristini is turning eleven years old. Also she cannot believe that my sister is going to be 13. The big 1-3.  

Oregon!!!

We literally just got back from Oregon. SO FUN!!!!! Seeing family, friends, horses, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. It was great visiting! And it was SO pretty! Thunderstorms 2 or 3 of the 7 or 8 nights we were there! It was fantastic! Love you all! 

Birthday Celebration

Doesn't everyone love birthday parties? Well my birthday is june 21st, and we just did my invites. I am so excited. I hope that everyone can come. We are going to have so much fun. Can't wait to update the pictures of my party. See ya! 

Tabitha's Last Tooth!!!!

Everyone loves losing teeth. You get money, you're getting older, etc. Anyway, we just had Tabitha pull out her last tooth tonite!! Why does she always pick nighttime to pull them out? I HAVE NO IDEA!!!!!! IT DRIVES US NUTS!!!! Anyway, thought we'd update.....
